Eveready Gold D Alkaline Batteries – Pack of 2

Eveready Gold D Alkaline Batteries LR20 – Pack of 2

Keep larger battery-powered devices running with Eveready Gold D Alkaline Batteries, a convenient two-pack of 1.5V batteries designed for everyday household equipment requiring standard D-size cells.

Whether you're replacing batteries in a large torch, powering a camping lantern or keeping a portable radio working, these alkaline batteries offer dependable power for a range of compatible devices.

Reliable Power for Larger Household Devices

D batteries are commonly used in equipment requiring larger cylindrical cells, particularly portable lighting and household electronics.

The Eveready Gold range uses alkaline battery technology to provide reliable performance in low to medium-drain devices.

Their larger physical size makes them suitable for equipment designed to accommodate D-size batteries, including selected torches, radios and motorised toys.

Standard D Size and LR20 Compatibility

These batteries use the recognised D / LR20 format, with a nominal voltage of 1.5V per battery.

They can replace compatible batteries marked D, LR20 or R20, provided the device manufacturer's instructions permit alkaline replacements.

Always check the size and battery type required by your device before purchasing, as D batteries are larger than C, AA and AAA batteries.

Ideal for Torches, Lanterns and Radios

Looking for D batteries for a torch, camping lantern or portable radio?

These Eveready Gold batteries are a practical choice for compatible portable lighting equipment, household radios and battery-powered accessories.

The two-pack is particularly convenient for devices requiring two D-size batteries, while additional packs can be purchased for equipment requiring four or more cells.

Long Shelf Life for Household Spares

Keeping spare D batteries at home can be useful for emergency lighting and equipment used occasionally.

Eveready Gold alkaline batteries are marketed as ready to use for up to 10 years when stored correctly, making them a practical option for household battery supplies.

For best results, keep unused batteries in their original packaging in a cool, dry location away from excessive heat and moisture.
