Returns Policy

Distance Selling Regulations
If you have ordered by telephone, internet, under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund for any home delivery item (excluding those ordered in-store). This does not apply to items personalized or made to your specification; items that due to their nature cannot be returned; perishable item(s) (e.g. food, flowers and periodicals/magazines).

Returns ...
We appreciate that sometimes you might want to exchange or return something you've bought.
Make sure you check your items carefully for any signs of damage before they're used or installed. It's a good idea to keep your receipt or order number as you might need them as proof of purchase. These are on your order confirmation or on the delivery packaging.

Changed your mind ...
We'll either exchange them or offer a full refund. Phone us on 01352 218099 or email [email protected] within 30 days to arrange a return. Products must be unused in their original packaging and accompanied by your proof of purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If you would like to return your item to a Rightway store please ensure you take your delivery paperwork with you to help the store quickly process your refund.
If you have a larger item that was home delivered please contact us to arrange a collection of your item.

The customer is responsible for all return delivery and/or collection costs unless an item has been delivered to you either damaged, faulty or incorrectly.

Items Received Damaged ...
In the unlikely event that you receive an item that appears to be damaged, you must sign for the item as damaged and notify us immediately. Damages must be reported to us by phone or email within 24 hours of receipt.

Faulty product ...
Within 30 days
Phone us on 01352 218099 or email [email protected]within 30 days to arrange a return. We'll usually offer you a replacement or repair. Products must be accompanied by your proof of purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights.

After 30 days but within one year of purchase
Phone us on 01352 218099 or email [email protected]to arrange a return. We'll usually be able to repair a product for you. If we can't offer a repair, we'll give you a replacement product. Products must be accompanied by your proof of purchase.
The customer is responsible for all return delivery costs This does not affect your statutory rights.


Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations ...
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item bought on this website for a full refund. This doesn’t apply to:

  • Items collected in store
  • Item(s) and services where the price is dependent on fluctuations in the financial market, and cannot be controlled by the trader
  • Item(s) made to the customers specification or are clearly personalised
  • Item(s) which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly
  • Newspapers, periodicals, magazines
  • Sealed item(s) which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if unsealed after delivery
  • Sealed audio or video recordings or computer software
  • Item(s) that becomes mixed inseparably (according to their nature) with other items after delivery.

 

Please take reasonable care of the item(s), we are entitled to deduct an amount from the refund to reflect any loss in value of the item(s) supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling of the item(s) by you.
Please make it clear when you cancel that you are cancelling under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations.
