Read these terms and conditions
Before you purchase a Rightway Gift Card, please ensure you have read these terms and conditions in full.
Treat your Gift Card like cash
You should treat your Rightway Gift Card like cash. Lost or stolen Gift Cards cannot be replaced. We cannot offer cash in place of the balance on a lost or stolen Gift Card.
Where you can use your Gift Card
Rightway Gift Cards can be used at any Rightway or Bevans store.
No online or telephone transactions
Rightway Gift Cards cannot be used for any online transactions nor taken over the telephone.
Validity and expiry
The Rightway Gift Card and any remaining balance will expire 24 months from the original date of purchase. Using the Gift Card does not extend or restart this expiry period.
In-store transactions and receipts
Transactions using your Rightway Gift Card can only be completed at the checkout in our Rightway or Bevans stores. The amount loaded onto or redeemed from a Gift Card will be shown on the till receipt, which you should keep.
Changes to these terms
Please note that Rightway reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions that apply to a Rightway Gift Card or discontinue the Gift Card scheme.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect your statutory rights.
Gift Card funds
Neither Rightway nor Bevans will keep money stored on Rightway Gift Cards separate from its own funds.
Financial protection
Rightway Gift Card balances are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme or the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Gift Card issuer
All Rightway Gift Cards are issued by Rightway Ltd Co number 4519604 or W. Bevans & Sons Ltd Co number 523269
Third-party terms
In accepting these terms and conditions, you are confirming that you have read, understood and accept any third-party card terms and conditions that may apply.
Age-restricted products
A Rightway Gift Card cannot be used to purchase age-restricted products unless the person purchasing those products can provide acceptable proof that they meet the relevant minimum age requirement.
Purchases exceeding the balance
If the total value of a purchase exceeds the available balance on a Rightway Gift Card, the Gift Card balance may be used towards the purchase, and the remaining amount must be paid using another payment method accepted by the store.
Remaining Gift Card balance
If the value of a purchase is less than the available balance on a Rightway Gift Card, the remaining balance will stay on the Gift Card and can be used for future purchases until the Gift Card expires.
Refunds
Where a refund is due for goods originally purchased using a Rightway Gift Card, the amount paid using the Gift Card will be refunded to a Rightway Gift Card rather than exchanged for cash.
No cash redemption
Rightway Gift Cards cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
Purchasing another Gift Card
Rightway Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase another Rightway Gift Card.
Faulty or damaged Gift Cards
If a Rightway Gift Card becomes faulty or damaged and can no longer be used, please take the Gift Card to a Rightway or Bevans store. Where the Gift Card and its remaining balance can be verified, Rightway / Bevans may transfer the remaining balance to a replacement Gift Card at their sole discretion.
