How to Use

1. Ensure all application surfaces, gaps and joints are clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, grease and loose material.

2. Remove deteriorated or incompatible existing sealant and prepare the joint in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

3. Remove the nozzle and cut open the end of the cartridge.

4. Replace the nozzle and cut its tip to the required bead width.

5. Insert the 300ml cartridge into a suitable sealant gun.

6. Apply a continuous, even bead along the exterior frame joint, ensuring good contact with both surfaces.

7. Smooth the silicone using an appropriate finishing tool to achieve a neat, consistent finish.

8. Allow the sealant to cure in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions before subjecting the joint to demanding conditions.

The manufacturer specifies an approximate skin-over time of 20 minutes and a cure rate of approximately 3mm per 24 hours at 23°C and 50% relative humidity. Actual curing times will vary depending on temperature, humidity and joint dimensions.
