Geocel Multi Purpose Silicone Sealant Black 290ml

Geocel Multi Purpose Silicone Sealant Black 290ml

Geocel Multi Purpose Silicone Sealant Black 290ml is a high-quality, versatile silicone sealant designed to deliver a durable, flexible and waterproof seal for a wide range of household maintenance, decorating and construction applications.

Manufactured using premium-grade silicone technology from Dow, this multi-purpose sealant offers reliable adhesion to compatible non-porous surfaces, helping to protect joints against moisture, weather exposure and everyday movement.

Its mould-resistant formulation makes it particularly useful for suitable applications in kitchens, bathrooms and other moisture-prone areas, while its weatherproof and UV-resistant properties also make it a practical choice for exterior sealing projects.

The black finish is ideal for applications where a darker seal is required, helping to create a neat, consistent appearance around compatible fittings, joints and surfaces.

Whether you're refreshing sealant around household fittings, completing a bathroom renovation or carrying out general DIY maintenance, Geocel Multi Purpose Silicone Sealant offers a reliable solution for achieving a long-lasting, flexible seal.

Best Uses

• Sealing suitable joints around kitchen sinks, basins and bathroom fittings.

• General-purpose sealing on compatible non-porous surfaces.

• Interior and exterior household maintenance and repairs.

• Creating waterproof seals around suitable fixtures and fittings.

• Sealing areas exposed to moisture, humidity and changing weather conditions.

• Applications where a black silicone finish is preferred.

• General construction and DIY sealing projects requiring a flexible, durable seal.

How to Use

1. Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, loose material and existing sealant residue.

2. Remove the cartridge nozzle and cut open the cartridge seal.

3. Reattach the nozzle and cut its tip at an angle to achieve the required bead width.

4. Insert the 290ml cartridge into a suitable sealant gun.

5. Apply a continuous, even bead along the joint, ensuring good contact with both surfaces.

6. Smooth the applied silicone using an appropriate sealant finishing tool to create a neat, consistent finish.

7. Allow the sealant to cure fully in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions before exposing it to demanding conditions.

The manufacturer specifies an approximate skin-over time of 20 minutes and a curing rate of approximately 3mm per 24 hours. Actual curing times depend on environmental conditions and the depth of the applied sealant.
