How to Use

Make sure walls and ceilings are clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, grease and loose or flaking material before painting.

Repair cracks, holes and other surface imperfections using an appropriate filler and allow repairs to dry fully.

Sand repaired or uneven areas where necessary and remove all resulting dust.

Protect floors, furniture, switches, sockets, skirting boards and other areas that aren't being painted.

Stir the paint thoroughly before application.

Apply Crown Matt Emulsion using a suitable brush or roller.

Use a brush where appropriate for cutting in around edges, corners, switches, sockets and other detailed areas.

Use a roller across larger wall and ceiling areas, working methodically to maintain an even finish.

Avoid overloading the brush or roller and spread the paint evenly across the surface.

Allow approximately two hours drying time under suitable conditions.

Where another coat is required, allow approximately two hours between coats and make sure the previous coat is sufficiently dry before continuing.

Coverage is up to approximately 14m² per litre, but porous, textured or previously unpainted surfaces may require more paint.

Once decorating is complete, remove excess paint from brushes and rollers before cleaning equipment with water.
