Cuprinol Garden Shades Paint Urban Slate 2.5L

Cuprinol Garden Shades paint for fences, sheds and other garden wood has been specially developed to colour and protect. The pigments give a rich colour while letting the natural texture of the woodgrain come through. It can also be used to add colour to the rest of your garden on terracotta, brick and stone surfaces.

How to use:

Check the weather forecast and make sure there is no rain forecast and the temperature is above 5°C. Prepare the surface making sure it is clean and dry, if it has been previously treated remove any loose, flaking paint. Give the paint a good stir to make sure the pigments are mixed together to give an even colour. Test on a small patch for colour and adhesion, once you’re happy with the colour and then you’re good to go!

Using a brush or a sprayer apply an even coat of paint, going along the grain. Wait until it’s dry and add a second coat, leaving a maximum of 8 hours between coats of paint.

When you’ve finish reseal the can and clean your brushes with water. Any spills should be cleaned up, while still wet, with water and household detergent. Left over paint should be stored, protected from frost and extreme temperatures.

If you’re painting areas that get a lot of wear like garden furniture, allow a few days before heavy use or contact with soft furnishings.
