Autumn Gold is a rich, golden-brown fence paint that brings warmth and character to outdoor spaces. Its earthy colouring complements garden greenery, natural planting and traditional timber features, making it an attractive choice for refreshing weathered fencing or restoring the appearance of wooden sheds.

Formulated with a wax-enriched, water-repellent finish, Cuprinol Ducksback Autumn Gold helps protect rough sawn garden wood against rain and moisture for up to 5 years. Its non-drip consistency makes application easier, while the water-based, low-odour formulation is safe for use around plants and pets when applied according to the manufacturer's instructions.

A 5L tub covers up to 24m² with one coat, equivalent to around 8 standard fence panels. Actual coverage will depend on the condition and absorbency of the timber and the application method.

How to Use

Ensure the timber is clean and free from dirt, mould, algae, moss and lichen before application. Allow the surface to dry thoroughly.

Stir the paint thoroughly before use and test a small area to check the final colour and adhesion. Apply evenly along the grain using a suitable brush or other manufacturer-approved application method.

Apply 2–3 coats as required, allowing approximately 2–4 hours between coats under normal conditions. Complete additional coats within 2–3 days, as the wax-enriched surface may repel subsequent applications once fully developed.

Avoid application when temperatures are below 5°C, in damp conditions or when rain is expected before the coating has dried.
