Cuprinol 5 Year Ducksback waterproof paint for sheds and fences has been developed with an advanced, wax enriched and non-drip formula, that colours and protects sheds and fences for up to 5 years. Cuprinol 5 year Ducksback is for use on rough sawn timber, is quick drying, low odour and safe to use around plants and pets.

How to use:

Check the weather forecast and make sure there is no rain forecast and the temperature is above 5°C. Give the tin a good stir and test on a small area first to make sure that the colour and adhesion is good. The colour in the tub may be different to the final shade once dry. Once you’re happy with the colour, you’re good to go!

Using a brush apply an even coat of paint going along the grain and avoiding overlapping brush stokes. Wait 2-4 hours and apply a second coat, if you’re painting onto a strong colour a third coat may be needed to get the desired colour. As the paint is enriched with wax additional coats of paint should be applied within 2-3 days to ensure the product is not repelled.

When you’ve finish reseal the can and clean your brushes with water. Left over paint should be stored, protected from frost and extreme temperatures.
